Lift up all the Australian Defence Personnel to God. Pray especially for all the fathers and mothers that they ensure, where ever possible that they maintain contact with their children. Pray especially for those who are in a ‘God’s design’ marriage relationship – that the Lord may preserve them from all harm. Ps 91:11. Pray that even in war zones, they may keep clearly before them the defence of all human rights and be people of integrity not given to any form of abuse.

Pray especially at this time for all who are going through grief journey’s, especially those in the protection services, and all who have been affected by drought, flood, fire, and pray for their families. (Ps 147:3)
Pray that governments would provide appropriate funding for the Defence Force and that they receive sound guidance to enable them to do so and such funding includes not only equipment but also funding for the emotional well being of all serving members whether married or single.
Pray for all strata’s of government – Federal, Local, State & Territory, and their staff that they would submit, knowingly or unknowingly, to Christ’s moral rule of law as one nation and walk in wisdom, Godly counsel. fear of the Lord and come to the knowledge of the truth, pursuing true peace and justice. Pray for the exposure of hidden motives, corruption and immorality in governments. Pray that they would value all life and they would honour God’s design of marriage. That they would honour their spouse, if in a ‘God’s design’ marriage, and where possible, put the needs of their family first. Thank God for them. Prv 14:34, Heb. 13:4.
Pray that there is integrity in the nation’s courts and legal systems as they work to uphold truth and justice and work to strengthen traditional marriage and family life. Pray that the Federal laws in our constitution, that seek to uphold righteousness would remain intact. Pray for true freedom in the nation to allow for a harvest of souls for the Kingdom. Pray for laws that positively address social imbalances in the community and work to prevent foreign ownership of the land and its infrastructure and protect national security.
Thank God for our Prime Minister. Pray that he fears God more than man and has counsellors who have godly wisdom and do what is right in the eyes of God. Please pray that the upright shall dwell in our governments, but that the wicked shall be cut off our government and the treacherous rooted out.
Pray for Federal Government elections due to be held this year – that the elections would not be manipulated by the media, foreign powers or corporations; that a spirit of true discernment would come upon voters so that just, righteous leaders are elected, who will be wise stewards of the nation and the funds entrusted to it.(Rom 13:1)
Please pray that God will give favour to people of His choosing.
In 2023, the South Australian First Nations Voice to Parliament was established, made up of community members, elected by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in South Australia, to represent their communities and provide advice on laws, policies, and programs through direct line of communication with key decision-makers. Pray that Australia would remain one nation under God and that all Believers would understand that all the nations belong to God Ps82:8. As Ps Margaret Court and Indigenous Elder Ralph Winmar say, “Don’t let the radical few bring a spirit of division that is trying to separate as a people, to bring racism and antisemitism in our nation. Let’s stamp it out and be a voice of righteousness, truth and justice.”
Pray for a spirit of true repentance to come for the laws which have been enacted that are contrary to the way ordained by God. Pray for all those who have been negatively impacted by such laws – abortion, gender confusion, assisted suicide, parenting, no fault divorce – to name but a few.
Pray for a spirit of true repentance to come for the laws which looked to the wisdom of man and have been enacted by actions or lack of actions which have undermined the Judeo-Christian foundations of religious freedom, marriage and family and the sanctity of human life contrary to the way set out in the constitution of “humbly relying on the blessing of Almighty God.” Pray for all those who have been negatively impacted by such laws – abortion, gender confusion, assisted suicide, parenting, no fault divorce – to name but a few.

Please pray for those who are married or soon to be married in this sphere:

that husbands & wives would each ‘draw a line’ that protects them when they are away from each other, from having inappropriate relationships. Prv 3:3-4.
that they (& everyone else) would repent & cleanse themselves of toleration of sexual immorality, pornography & materialism, & switch off that ungodly entertainment. Prv 4:23.
that they may live in awareness of the promises they made to each other on their wedding day and that they would live out those vows.1 Cor 13:7.
