Marriage Ministry Kits
Given the current pressures of the world, including spiritual attacks and busyness, a large amount of church leaders’ time is sometimes spent on one-to-one marriage/family counselling. A proactive marriage ministry, led by a suitable married couple with a strong marriage and a love for marriage, empowered by church leadership, would positively impact such time.
To assist the building and running of such a ministry, we are releasing a number of Marriage Ministry Kits that are free to download.

| Videos Equipping Marriage: There are a number of videos available in the public domain through Youtube that sow into and have a positive influence on marriage if the hearts of husband and wife are open to receive the message being given. Our selection, which is regularly reviewed, could be used within any size group, and then have a discussion forum afterwards.* |  |
| Marriage Helpers: A curated a list of organisations and ministries that are making a difference in the lives of others by strengthening marriages and families. Pre-marriage courses are also provided by many of them, their entry will show this if they do. Couples who invest in their marriage in this way give their future life together a great start. Many of them will be running courses, workshops, day retreats etc near to you or even for you to host. |  |

The material is produced in portrait or landscape format, A3/A4 size that can be reduced in size locally. | Easy Planning for Marriage Week: In the second week of September each year, occurring before the start of the Lord’s festivals (Leviticus 23), Marriage Week is a time to honour and celebrate marriages of God’s design, one man and one woman in a lifetime covenant. Explore some of the ways how, as a church, you can plan for a celebration and honouring marriage. | |
| Promotional Ideas: As you will know, word-of-mouth advertising and personal invitation is the best form of advertising. However, other areas should not be overlooked, particularly in reaching the community outside your church. We share a few ideas to help you along the way, and do not forget to involve your local Christian radio station. | |

Great Aussie Date Night or Time: Do you want to strengthen marriages in your congregation and see marriages that illustrate the way Christ and church are one? Then hold a ‘Date Night’. Participate in ‘The Great Aussie Date Night’ that takes place nationally on the last Saturday of Marriage Week. Whilst we say “Date Night” there is no reason why marriage is not honoured and celebrated over a special breakfast, brunch, lunch or picnic (weather permitting, of course). A time that is aimed at strengthening marriages, rekindling the romance in a fun, enjoyable way. |  |
