Praying for marriages is a critical part of our prayer life. There is a continuing immense attack on marriage and family life in this nation and world-wide. Some marriages and families are under much stress and no part of our society seems to be exempt. We post, on a monthly basis, prayers for marriages with each month covering a different sector of our society. These are a only a guide and the spirit will guide you regular purposeful, systematic, focussed prayer for not only Christian marriages and families but including those in the nation.

The Sphere of Arts has the potential to touch lives in a powerful way and can be, and often is, used to communicate the gospel message. Drama, dance, story, jewellery, pottery, embroidery, music and visual image can be expressions both of the reality of our brokenness, and of the hope that is centred in the gospel that all things will be made new. In the world of mission, the arts are often an untapped resource. It is an important means for believers to engage with society, whether through the performing arts, visual arts or other creative arts.

This month the prayers are for marriages where either the husband, wife are working or involved in the area of religion or philosophy.
Religion is composed of a set of morals, rules. Religions generally have a set of dogmatic beliefs and practices that are designed to help a person achieve a spiritual goal. A religion is about believing and doing the right thing in order to be ‘right’ with the spiritual universe. Christianity is a relationship with Jesus Christ, a faith in Almighty God. Prayer for marriage ~ May ~ for those working in Law & Justice
These prayers are a suggested guideline and reminder of what law enforcement officers do to serve our communities every day. Pray for their safety, courage, and discernment. Police help protect our communities and ensure that the law is followed.
- Please pray for divine help for them to be humble, self-controlled & honest, treating all with dignity. They put themselves at risk every day. Continuing attacks on persons in public places have drawn attention to such risks.

Lift up all the Australian Defence Personnel to God. Pray especially for all the fathers and mothers that they ensure, where ever possible that they maintain contact with their children. Pray especially for those who are in a ‘God’s design’ marriage relationship – that the Lord may preserve them from all harm. Ps 91:11. Pray that even in war zones, they may keep clearly before them the defence of all human rights and be people of integrity not given to any form of abuse.
